I can’t explain my level of excitement when this tour was announced. I was even more excited when I was accepted on the tour (and then I royally screwed up). If the cover doesn’t grab you, then the synopsis definitely will.
There is so much that happens in this book that I’m nervous, yet excited, about where this story is going. There is drama, humor, romance, suspense, intrigue, and a bit of frustration (for me). This is a great debut and start to this series. The world-building and magic system was well done. The way it’s intricately woven into the story was fascinating. There were some twists that I didn’t see coming, and that was exciting. The world was vivid and made me want to be there. I’m excited to see more of this world.
Lore, Asher, and Finn are amazing characters. They were well-developed, and I adored them. It was fun seeing them interact; it has been just pure entertainment. I adored everything about Lore. She was a phenomenal main character. While I don’t love cliffhangers, this was pretty awesome. I hate having to wait for book 2, but I’m so excited about it.
