When you find your people, you find yourself. That was the case for Casey Black. Casey’s life was perfect until it wasn’t. She learns that social media is fickle because whoever shows the B-side? For Casey, social media was all about showing her greatest hits. She visits South Carolina to reconnect and meets her grandmother, whom I love!
Although Casey is a city girl at heart, the South is where she belongs. It was also interesting learning more about Casey’s and Nigel’s culture. Also, I adored Nigel… everything about him. Their interactions were quite enjoyable. While there was romance, it wasn’t the main theme, and I enjoyed that. The most enjoyable part of this story was watching (or reading or listening to) Casey make discoveries about herself.
Casey’s journey of self-discovery will keep you glued to the story, and you’ll find yourself rooting for Casey. This was quite the introduction to Ms. McKnight.
