One of my favorite board games and movies is “Clue,” so this was right up my alley!
I didn’t realize this was a series, but it felt like it could be a standalone. I didn’t feel lost at all.
After a summer fling, Micah confesses his love to Nadia, who didn’t say it back. They agreed to be friends, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t feel the same. Her last relationship left her with some trauma, which left her fearful of returning that love. But what do you do when love is staring you in the face? Is there a Christmas miracle to save Micah and Nadia?
I don’t think I read many stories where the man falls first, and I loved this. Micah was absolutely adorable. I loved everything about him. I loved that he wore his heart on his sleeve, and I adored his relationship with his daughter, Gillian.
You can see the setup happening, but it’s super adorable. You can see how perfect Micah and Nadia are for each other, but her last relationship did a number on her. I loved how their friends helped them get together.
This story covers a few tropes, and I loved each and every one. I am definitely going back to read the first two books because this one was amazing.
There was humor, steamy scenes and fun. I need more!
