Coming home after 7 years, Malorie Montgomery returns home to Cape Cod. While out on a run with her dog, they stumble across a dead body. When she screams out, never in her wildest dreams did she imagine the person who would come to her rescue would be her high school sweetheart… who broke her heart. Dean Slater never imagined he would see Malorie again… and definitely not under these circumstances. As Malorie and Dean grow close again, can the two of them solve this mystery before Malorie is next?

This was a very emotional second chance romance. Watching Malorie’s and Dean’s relationship blossom was something to see. Both characters have secrets from their past, which lead to misunderstandings and unnecessary heartache. The development of their relationship was perfect… and so were the love scenes. Second chance romance typically isn’t my thing, but I might have to change my stance that after reading Dangerous Currents.

Step into the past with Niccolaio Andretti, and see how he becomes the outcast of his own family. Watch him become a walking contradiction, all the while being hot, funny, sweet, and dangerous. He made a choice that will follow him and change his life. Family can be a funny and fickle thing.

One week before graduation, and Minka almost has a lock on a potential husband. With her degree a given, she’s almost there with getting custody of her sister. She thinks she has to put herself out there to get what she wants, but she’s about to find out there’s a different way.

Parker S. Huntington is amazing, she took a character I despised in the first book and made me feel for her. Minka wasn’t a bad person, and she’s intelligent. I quite enjoyed her, but I loved Niccolaio. He was mysterious and intelligent. They were well matched, and I would love to have a series of just the two of them. Add in Minka’s sister, Mina, and this story is quite amazing! What I love about this series is each book has a theme. Revenge, family, love, redemption. This series is absolutely fantastic. Asher Black is my favorite (so far), but I absolutely loved this!

Being the face of Timber, the new, popular dating app, is a lot of pressure. Magnus Andersen is an absolutely gorgeous man who has everything, but love. He never imagined he would actually USE the app. He’s been a little scarred from his last relationship. Lucy, Avery’s older sister, is the epitome of scarred. The guy she thought she was building a life with, David, decided it wasn’t the life he wanted. After finding out she was pregnant, David takes off. Lucy has been everything to everyone, but now it’s about Lucy. She never thought she’d catch the eye of Magnus on Timber. Will the two of them find love or will this just be a fling?

This is another awesome book in this series. It was a nice continuation from Clipped. What was pretty cool about this one was there’s a scene towards the end of Clipped of Wes and Magnus (business rivals) interacting with each other. You see what happens before and after that scene from Lucy’s and Magnus’s point of view. Both characters are endearing. Lucy is a great mother and down-to-Earth. Magnus is surprisingly down-to-Earth as well and has a slight stutter; which is quite adorable. This is a great series, and I can’t wait to continue!

Sometimes people don’t realize how much names can hurt. In high school, names can hurt. No one knows that better than “Anal Avery”. That was a name she couldn’t escape when in high school. It was a name given to her by Wes, who had a massive crush on her… because that’s what you do when you really like someone, you tease them. As a result, Avery couldn’t wait to leave her hometown at the first opportunity, which is college!

Unfortunately, an emergency brings Avery home after being away for 8 years. The first person she sees is Wes, and the sparks fly. Wes is a completely different person than Avery remembers. He helps her sister with her 5-year-old son, he’s a successful business owner, and he wants her! Wes is relentless in his pursuit of Avery, but a misunderstanding can completely undo all the damage he caused back in high school.

Where has Remy Blake been all my life?! Her writing was engaging and I felt like I’ve known Avery and Wes my whole life. The story was funny and heartfelt. It’s the first book in the series and if the second book of the series is as good as the first, I’m in for a really good treat!

Save Infiniti, save the world… sort of. Infiniti is not your average teenager, actually… she is, but that’s about to change! She finds out the supernatural is real and her life is in danger. She finds allies in Havenwoods Fall, making temporary foes into allies to protect her. Can a transhuman, Fleet, and a teenage wolf shifter, Joe, band together in time to save Infiniti?

I thought this was absolutely adorable and a quick, fun read. This appears to be a series with multiple authors. The slightly confusing part is figuring out where this book falls in the series. Infiniti, Joe, and Fleet are all great characters. I do wish the story was a little longer, but I truly enjoyed this. I’ll have to find out where this falls in the series because I’m definitely intrigued and would love to see where this goes!

Sometimes, witnessing something you shouldn’t have it a bad thing. “Lucy” witnesses what she thought was a crime, and calls the police… not knowing who she was dealing with. The reputation of Asher Black DEFINITELY precedes him. Asher wants to know who called the police and he does just that. They both have pre-conceived notions of what the other person is like, and boy are they wrong! With Asher’s reputation of being associated with the mob, he is in danger of losing his company. He’s being made to look unstable because he’s unwed… this needs to be remedied immediately!

I thought this was a great start to a series. It’s listed as 300+ pages long, but they fly by! The interactions between Asher and Lucy are interesting. As the reader, you know Asher is dangerous, but you also can tell he will do anything for the people he loves. Lucy tends to run at the first sign of trouble… as one does growing up in the foster care system, but there’s something about Asher that keeps her from running. I enjoyed this one, and hopefully, I’ll enjoy the next one!

Fighting for Mr. Beautiful picks up, literally, where we left off. Elena saves Leo’s life, but it may be at the expense of her own. Waking up in a hospital with no recollection of how she got there or why she’s in Italy at all was jarring, to say the least for Leo. It means she doesn’t remember falling in love with him. Leo needs a plan and he needs one now! Good thing he’s prepared. He either needs to help her regain her memory or make her fall in love with him again! Easy, right?! Hold your horses! Everything you remember about Elena isn’t the “Elena” she knows. With the help of her friends, can Elena regain the happiness she once knew?

There were a few discrepancies in this one… it didn’t take away from the story, but it could make it hard to follow. There were moments I was absolutely in love with Leo. He was endearing and patient. He was understanding and dealing with a lot. He was fun, flirty, he was perfect. The hashtag usage after a while started to become too much. Not a deal breaker, but it felt like there was #this or #that on every page. With that being said, I devoured this story in one sitting. I read this entire series in one night. I think this could have been flushed out a bit, but that could just be me trying to get a third book out of this series!
