THE RUNAWAY MILLIONS was a hard story to rate. There were times where I was plain frustrated with Bryce. Although this was a great read, I found myself wondering whether my love of the story outweighed my frustration with Bryce. In certain scenes, it’s hard for the reader to tell which character is older. However, this showed Bryce’s insecurities and vulnerability which made it easier to relate to him.

And often times Kyle’s level of maturity aged him beyond his 19 years. What I loved about Kyle was his sense of loyalty…but with a lack of communication, his loyalty at times seemed to be flighty. I enjoyed this story, but what was gripping about THE RUNAWAY MILLIONS is Michel’s story line. It was heartbreaking at times, but it truly showed Kyle’s growth. Overall, a very enjoyable story.
