The Turning Point ~ Marie Meyer

This is a fun and emotional story about living your life to the fullest because you never know how short it could be. While Lucas is running from his past, Sophia is running from her future… or what her future may be. As they meet in Italy, you journey with them to historic sites and it’s almost enough to make you feel like you’re traveling with them… but it seems to lack the smaller details that would have brought Italy to life.

The pacing of the story was pretty good as you got to know Lucas and view the interaction between him and Sophia, which made the pace feel steady and at times like you’re caught up in a whirlwind love affair. However as you get closer to knowing what the future holds for Sophia, it felt as though the pace slowed down. As a result, I give it 3 stars.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a HEA.
