A Woman Scorned ~ Rachel E. Frank

Aurelia is an assassin who is a former lady maid until tragedy strikes. Now she kills good for nothing men for gold. After finishing a job, she goes an inn/bar where the inn keeper, Percy, helps her pick her next job.

She’s approached by a man named “Henry”who wants to hire her to rescue Lady Lynnette from a terrible man, Charles. In the process of going to rescue her, she remembers things from her past.

The writing was good (she’s in high school and she writes better than I ever could!), but there were times when you could tell the author is young. It was not a great story, but it helped pass the time.
